Name of Nylon Winch Rope ?

I am wanting to replace my existing wire winch cable with nylon winch rope that I believe is used by yaucthis..

I am not wanting strap - but rather this type of winch rope that i have heard is pretty darn good.

Anyone got ideas as to what this rope is called and where I can get it from?

The usual shops sell it in I think 5+7m lengths with a hook spliced on, or you can contact the company direct and they will supply whatever length you desire.

Thanks for quick resposne - how many of guys actually use this rope to winch your boat up with and is it suitable for this application?

Is great stuff & well worth the effort, especially if you keep getting a hand full of prickles.
Only problem I have had with it (was my own fault) was pulling out to much, letting the kids take up the weight when I drove the boat on, & getting it caught in the winch, cut straight through it.

Not sure where you are splash but I just put the same blue Nylon rope on my boat.

Just threw the packaging out in Mondays wheelie bin but I got mine from Leisure Marine, Capalaba.
Most good Boating supplies would have it - I am sure you have a Bias round your way because they would definetly have it.
