Good day
One thing to consider is that Minn cota have been at the fore front of electric motor design and manufacture for years.Watersnakes are a chineese (i think) motor which would be a copy of something.I guess what i am trying to say is if you buy a Minn Cota you know you are getting a well designed state of the art motor that will last you for yonks.(my little endura 30 is over 10 years old and still going strong).
Cheers
