Team,

I had a trailer roller fall off yesterday due to it's holding split pin failing.

I suspect I need to replace all roller split pins and maybe even the rollers themselves..(look old and dried out).

Recommeded roller brand/type/composition/hardness for fiberglass hull?

i go for the good old fashion rubber rollers, they may mark your hull, but offer a bit of give over bumpy roads which your hull willl thank you for.
I assume you mean keel rollers

Thanks mate.

Actually not keel rollers - my mistake for nto being clear.

These are rollers that hug the hull and move when the hull moves up and down for launch/retrieval..

Yeah Splash,
Any of the coloured rollers will do. I suspect though you would probably like to replace with the same roller type/colour that is existing???? Its a good opportunity to do a little service to all parts of the trailer. A little bit of grease and some good old TLC never hurts the trailer. I do mine every 4 - 6 months and its surprising how much better the boat glides on and off the trailer and how much longer the wheel bearings last. Might I suggest that you up the diameter of the split pins too.

Cheers

Shane
