boat from the states

hey has anyone brought a boat from the states if so how much does it cost and how did you go about it.did it take long to get it over here.

approx cost is $20,000 transport if on a Trailer, much more if a bigger Boat, then there is any duties that may/will apply like GST and quarrantine and then some other bits and pieces depending if it is new or second hand. and also a lot of US Boats are too wide for Aussie roads, and some trailers need couplings and stuff changed. so do your home work well, it can SEEM like a cheap Boat "on paper" and a lot of the lower tier Boats are very cheaply made and suffer from rot very badly.
