Underwater Epoxy

We have our permanently moored timber vessel on the hard at the moment and have removed the calking along the garboard strake. The hull is triple diagonal NZ Kauri. There is some erosion in a few areas along the keel and I am thinking that I can use epoxy to fair it before recaulking. Any advice?
We have plenty of West but I recall Mega Epoxy being good for the purpose
