Easter Boaties (non-locals esp) should be aware that this bar is in fairly poor conditions and is not improving.
It is very shallow....esp at low tide...with less tham 1 metre in some places.
A number of bigger boats have hit bottom recently.
Buoys have been put in to show the safest passage, however extra care should be taken.
If indoubt have a chat to the Coast Guard boys.

It should be dredged ASAP before a disaster occurrs. >:(
