first boat advise

gday fishos, my first boat, do we put in a deck wash, self draning floor, what type of sounder, chart plotter gps, what other extraes can put in a 5.5 m center con,please give some advise ,rob thanks.;)

what brand/model of boat are you getting? self draining decks are usually part of the construction process, is it an option from the builder?

where do you intend to use the boat, what type of fishing? deck wash, live bait tank, kill box, esky's, plenty of extras will fit in a 5.5m CC.

there's a huge range of electronics available to buyers - how much do you want to spend, do you want seperate units or a combo sounder/gps? do you have space for a VHF, 27 meg & AM/FM radio?

gday gelsec , boat is a formosa c/c, most of my fishing will be done in the bay around mud ,st helena, green peel, around the pin, broardwater and when we get the expericnce i will shoot threw the seaway outside chaseing the red buggers . rob
