I have just purchased a seafarer Vermont 5.1m hull I am looking for any information I can get with regards to a full rebuild . The floor has already been removed so I am starting from scratch. Has any one done one. The transome is ok so I dont have to replace that. I have not seen the original layout so any photos would be great. I have some Fibreglass experience but need help with floor supports/underfloor support/underfloor floation/floor thickness/ materials used/ we have on standby a team of highly skilled idiots
Thanks Terry
Have a look for a thread called "White Ants in the Play Pen" Long read but worth it (was hard enough keeping up when it was being done)
Awesome rebuild.

Awww... thanks Fez :)
Hi Terry,
Our rebuild is a Seafarer Ventura 17 (5.18mt)
The thread is two years old now and photos on the first 4 pages were lost during a server change, but links are still there that take you to the photo host site. First 8 pages are ripping apart and preparation, then the real fun began.
You will find the thread here -

Good luck with your rebuild, and I hope your team of highly skilled idiots stay with you to the end.

Hi Terry, Please find a link to the Share Project website for a Sea Farer Viking. It is in 4 parts and has good explanations and pictures.
