yamaha 40hp whats it worth

hi guys i have a 1998 model 40hp yamaha tiller steer which runs sweet and has 120psi on each pot although it seems to have a rattle in it just wondering what yous think it would be worth as im looking at selling it its also in good condtion

Wiz what do you mean?

If it presents very well with no obvious flaws I would guess around 1/2 todays new price on the same model, possibly a little bit more. At least thats my guess.

hi thanks for replys guys yeah what do you mean wiz regardless of the compressions it still has a rattle thats why im asking the question yes it presents well for its age .

hi guys just a update for those who may be interested in wats causing the rattle i had my mecanic look at it today and his most certain its a gudgeon problem on number to cylinder and said its approx $200 to fix doin it your self and said could still be used as it is as it could go for another 2 years or so very interesting to know thought id share it with you incase yous come across a simialr problem
