Hi everyone

I've just been advised by Duncan from Fishhead (Specialist Fishing Tackle) at Victoria Pt that they will be holding a special session next week:

WHY: To encourage and assist fishing folks to fill out responses to EPA's draft zoning plan for the Bay and also to complete responses to the DPI&F Inshore Finfish Review.

WHEN: Monday 3rd March 2008

TIMES: froom 5.00pm to 8.00pm

Both of these documents are critical for fishing in the Bay!

They will have plenty of copies of both documents and response forms there for you to fill out on the night, and some nibblies to keep you going while you do the paperwork!

A DPI&F rep has been invited to be there and MBAA will be there too, to help answer questions you might have about both plans so you can do the best job possible in completing your responses.

This is a great initiative from Duncan, Janelle and their team, so hope to see many people there busily filling out response forms on Monday night!

Fishhead is located at:

Town Centre Victoria Point
Shop 4, Building 2
Crn Redland Bay & Colburn Road
Victoria Point QLD 4165
(Bunnings Side of the Road)

Just a reminder that you can drop in tonight (Monday) and fill in your EPA form. at Fish Head. We want to get as many as possible done tonight so I can express post them Wed.

Drop in any time between 5pm - 8pm.

If you can't stay drop in and grab the form and take it with you.

See you tonight - remember half an hour is not much time to give up. Compare that to the amount of time you will have to travel if your fav fishing spot goes green!

See you tonight

Thanks Duncan and Janelle for giving up your time and providing the venue. Grant and both of you were very helpful and made my task a lot easier.
Thanks

Thank you to all those that came along.

A very big thank you to Grant Bennett from MBAA for giving up his time (when he had other committments) to come along and answer questions. We would have been lost without the help.

Thanks as well to Duncan who provided the venue, drinks and nibblies and was on hand to answer questions even though he was a sick as a dog.

I still have lots of submission forms and maps so if you haven't filled yours in yet just drop into Fish Head and one of the team will show you how you fill the form in.

I will be express posting all the ones I have received at 4pm on Wedesday.

It is still not too late - or remember you can complete the submission online.

Cheers,

Janelle
