I bought some new hooks the other day and i got a pack of some mustad kirby hooks in size 3/0 and was seeing who has used them,i am using little bits of squid, prawns and maybe worms. Have you caught much on them?

almost all Mustad hooks are good, Kirbies are a bit of a "general" hook and are of good quality, quite strong and sharp, no drama using them.

They are ideal for using with prawns depending on how big the prawns are. I used to use Mustad Kirby hooks all the time in the days of being a bait fisherman and for prawns and yabbies always used Mustad hooks. Found they were hard to beat and always sharp. I think they still chemically sharpen them. Have not used them in a while now.
