Hey everyone i was wondering. Say you have your young adult licence and then that day comes along that you turn 16 do you have to do another test before before they give you your adult licence or do they just send you your adult licence? You know it was just one of those things that has been bugging me?
Cheers Nick 8-)

We Queenslanders cannot help you for "there aint no such animal here in Queensland" - you must be 16 years of age to get a boat licence here.

You can get a Adult License at 16 years of age and a Young Adult license at 12 years of age. The Young Adult License will automatically upgrade to a full Adult License on the holders sixteenth birthday. No further testing is required.

..so this is something ive never really thought about...
Up here in darwin we don't have licences for boats at all, if i took my rig interstate for a holiday, would i need a licence?
What restrictions do other states/territories have in regard to licences? what can a young adult do verses an adult?

Ahh the NT, the final frontier!!
Salad Fingers, if you brought your rig to QLD you would need to have a license.
Interstate licenses are accepted (excluding young adult licence) in QLD. Same would apply in other states.
