Looked at a second hand Northbank 540 on the weekend and I quite liked it. The Yalta 555 is about $10k less (new boat prices) and to me still looks like a good boat. I would be interested in hearing peoples opinion on the northbank.

Andy, was typing a long winded responce to this and lost the damn thing! M8 do a search titled "Northbank" as I've posted plenty on them for others to view also. If you need anymore help, just ask!

Andy,
There are a number of posts on here about the yalta 555.
Quite a few of us have them and are more than happy.
Do a search on yalta and so forth and you will see all the reports.

Thanks gawby and coontakinta. I have read just about every post I can find hear on the Yalta, will go do the same now with Northbank.

Gawby, the yalta is still at the top of my list at the moment. The wife approves too, she just did not like the seats but apparently can live with it!! Do my usual trick though, I have to check everything out first.

hi the northbanks are a great boat mate see my previous post in the boating section as i water tested one i tested the 540 cuddy with a 130hp honda which pushed her along at 75klm hour flat out and it handled a 1 metre swell with ease do 65klm and hour it sat well at rest and was a dry boat they are a no frills brand plain to look at also but what got me is the thickness of the fiberglass and the ride is also great if i was you myself id consider taking taking a water test in the northbank than compare it to others than make your decsion .
cheers shane
