HI, I have an older boat but the gelcoat is still nice and shiny and I hose it off thoroughly after every trip. I used gelcoat restorer on it when I first got it and got it back to near new but after a few trips I notice it starts to get that white wash sort of look again. I'd rather not use the gelccoat restorer again yet, apart from being hard work it must have some abrasive effect on the hull. Is hosing it off good enough after a trip in the salt or should I be washing it with car wash or something?

G'day

Provided the layers of polish and wax are still protecting, a bit of boat/car wash after a day out will help a lot.

When sitting at home, use a microfibre cloth and meguiars quick clean marine.

This is a great waterless product that will aid the longevity of the wax, therefore help the overall presentation of the gelcoat
