Help with a Power Wrapper design

Hi, I currently have a power wrapper that i built with v blocks aas my supports but have found that im replacing felt way to often as it just wears out far to quickly. I need help designing supports with rollers. If anyone has designs it would be much appreciated some thing easy would be could that has a roller on top to lock the blank in.

here is a simple one made from acrylic, but it could be made from pretty much anything..

I'm making mine at the moment and I am using rollerblade wheels I bought off ebay. The bloody things have built in lights in them too, so when I wrap a rod it will look like a disco! Will post pics when I finish if you like.
