Repair advice needed

Hi Guys,

Recently purchased a second hand fibreglass boat, thought it was structurally sound but have since discovered the transon is cactus. Just wondering if anyone has had expecrience in this area(I imagine a few have).

I was after some advice on

A. Is it worth replacing a transom in an older boat.
B. Roughly how much has anyone spent on this kind of repair
C. What are the chances the floor is gone as well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I guess the simple answers are 1. maybe, 2. who knows? 3.possibly. I am only guessing here as there is so many variables, but a Transom to get done $1,500 to $2,000??? and some Boats will be easy worth spending money on whereas some are not, as far as the floor goes get it checked out and see, what sort of Boat is it?? that may help in making a better guess on which way to go.
