Does anyone know any manufacturers that make hydraulic or electric mechanisms that lift tinnies on and off camper trailers? Prefer lift off to the side of the trailer.
Thanks
Robert

The most common way to get a tinnie on and off a CT is with a gas strut assisted loader. Most of the larger CT manufacturers do them, but any competent welder could fashion one I suspect.
The idea is that you put the boat on the ground beside the CT and connect it to the loader. You then lift (with assistance of gas struts) the boat over on top of the CT and 'latch it down'. To set up camp, just unlatch and swing the boat over, without disconnecting the boat unless you want t use it. Perhaps you knew this already.

I tow a CT, but carry the tinnie on top of the Hilux.

If you carry the tinnie on top of the CT, it is likely yo will also need a fold up trailer to get the boat to the water.

Roofracks gallor on the northside of brissy do a winch setup that you use by hand or by your cordless drill.
I saw i operated at the last camping show and i have to tell you its simple to use with one operator.
and the good thing about it imo is you dont have expensive motors/hydraulic to look after just a cordless which can be replaced quite cheaply.
