G'day fellow ausfishers.

I need a roadworhty certificate for my braked boat trailer. Those of you who have sold boats with braked trailers, could you recommend a place please. I live on the southside (Shailer Park) and the only other thing is I need it done this week.

Regards,

Wags

I had to get one done recently, the local Queensland Transport office gave me a list of local ones.

Sorry - I'm in Hervey Bay so can't name a specific one near you but if you give your local QLD Transport office a yell they should be able to

Cheers
Tony

You are just in luck! I got one done yesterday!

Johns Autofix, 19 Aranda Street, Slacks Creek. Ph: 3208 5688.

They did it while I waited, only charged me $30 (unlike an unnamed marine dealership that wanted to charge between 50-100 depending how long it took them). Took 20 min. Only thing is, they are a little reluctant to do rusty trailers so let them know over the phone that your trailer is in good nick and that it shouldn't have any problems.
