G'day everyone.
This is my very first post on this site, I only just signed up. I've been living in the Redlands for a while now and usually go fishing once a week or 2. I usually go and fish in Tingalpa Creek or just off the rock wall past the water front estate at Birkdale (I live in Birkdale) so locally is always good....But.....Over the last year or so, I've caught absolute bugger all. I've tried around the rock wall at Raby Bay but after that dismal afternoon, I got even more disheartened! That, plus only sticking to where you know and complete apathy means I havn't tried many more places.
I've read on here that apparrently the Redland Bay jetty has some good Brim around it as does the boat ramp at Point Talburpin. My only concern is that the posts that had that info were around 5 years old... Does anyone know if those places are still good? Or if anyone has any idea's or know of any good spots?
I know no fisherman likes giving away his spot so any information at all is greatly appreciated.
