Hi fellas, Garmin 525s has arrived. I have a garmin 340c sounder flush mounted with the transducer mounted on the right side on transom. Now would it be ok if I mount the 525s unit on the dash and then put the transducer on the left on the transom. Both transducers are dual freq, I realize I can not run both sounders at the same time. I,d like to keep sounder as a back up, same as I will always take h/h gps when I heas out wide. Has anyone got any quick tips for using the 525s. Polky.
