New or Used Boat Recommendations???

Hi guys,

I am looking to buy a new boat, my budget will be roughly $35 - $40K, so my question is, what do you guys recommend in that budget keeping the following in mind.

* I fish Moreton bay, would like to venture offshore (50/50 bay/offshore)
* Usually 2 - 3 people fishing, with the potential of going out myself (so preferable to be able to be retrieved on my own)
* On the occasion that the wife comes out she needs to have something comfortable maybe only 10% of the time.
* Want aluminium
* I would prefer to be able to store it in my carport which is of standard height (length doesn't matter)

Anything you can provide will be appreciated.

Gotta agree with Dave. Wag's Stacer would meet all your requirements and be within your budget. Ride will be harsher than a platey but you have an economical late model yammie and a boat with all the Telwater trimmings by the look of it.


You could keep an eye out for an old centre cab Sportfish but the majority of them will be two strokes with a few hours by now
