maybe they were constipated and researching a cure?

USCG/rescue boat or similar training, wonder if they planned on that sort of manouevre. they must have strapped themselves on.

It was a US Coast guard training run, they stuffed up and didn't anticipate the swell was going to be so big.. It's amazing that the boat came back up though.. maybe they are designed that way, maybe it was a fluke ?

I'd say there would have been a line up for the dunny after that one though

Thats why I want an ex coast guard boat. They can roll over and they come straight back up similar in design to the boats down here in NSW. The Blokes in the top are strapped in. Guess they must have drawn the short straw. Not For Me
I have already spent 18 Hours sitting on the bottom of a yacht that dropped its Keel 8 miles off South West Rocks .

I have seen a doco of them testing those boats. They basically tie a strap to one side of the deck and run it back under the boat. Then they use a crane to pull the boat upside down and they hold it upside down for some time then the crane lets go. The boats just roll back up, quite amazing actually. The poms do basically the same, I think they were doing it well before the americans too.

I saw the actual video footage of that a while ago at my uncle's place from memory. Apparently that boat was being tested for its possitive buoyancy. It was actually going totally upside down and righting itself every single time. Very impressive.
