WE are going down to the Broadwater Tourist Park in one of their lovely waterfront cabins.

We can take the boat and park it outside when we arent fishing & its a great spot for the kids so we are all happy lol.

Well I left Scarborough marina with the latest weather report in hand 10/15 knots SE/E winds outside 1.2 metre swell. Left Scarborough 6.00 am me and a crew of five headed out to Deep Tempest, we got to the cape and turned the corner and headed for DT we copped three squalls from the south the wind peaked at 33 Knots the current was opposed to the tide and the wind was opposed to the lot, we got hammered (comfortably I thought) Looked for my crew, found all of them on the starboared side burleying up. No one wanted to play, headed into Curtain (with everyone else) and finally anchored up for the night at Bulwer, The weather report said the wind was changing to the North so Yellow Patch was out of the question, but no it stayed S/SE at 20 knots all night, crew weren't happy back at Scarborough at 9.00 am Sunday with a fridge full of food and a cold room full of beer and RTD.
I went back Sunday to pack up and clean the boat.....yep fun weekend!
