Advise: Yoke type 1 PFD

I agree with Bugman, I got 3 this morning. Comfortable and if you fall over, it's worth a million bucks.....

I guess as long as you get a "brand" and not just the cheapest you can find, they should be OK.

look for one with a long time until the next service is due - usually stamped 'inside' somewhere - on the bit that unfolds when inflated.

Some are user serviceable, and this is permitted in some states subject to conditions - if in QLD, check MSQ - other Ausfishers have also posted some stuff about this on this site, I think

I have some RFDs which are great.

RFD actaully had a recall on their inflatable PFDs a year or so back due to a batch being sent out without the gas cylinder, so just make sure whatever one you get, it's there.
