I want to take out the back seat in my boat.
Its removable and goes from one side to the other. I want to replace it with an esky or 2 if i can.
One for fish, 1 for food.
Overall it needs to be approx 1380 L , 400 w, 300 H.
Does anyone know where i can start.
I would love an evakool, but sizes dont suit.
Got 2 at the moment, but 2 big.
I will then put cushion on top.

Cheers

Those esky's look the goods, I might consider getting one for myself, a 150l one should do nicely

I’m making an esky to almost that exact size and dimensions. I’m making it from 4mm marine grade alloy with 40mm foam as the insulation. Won’t have to worry about gel coat cracks or chips and its fairly light as well. I went trough the same exercise not to long ago and couldn’t find an esky close to what I wanted, so of I went and built my own.

a good mate is into building houseboats, the gear he uses for the cabin area is made of or close to coldroom gear, i know he had off cuts from door/window openings, its 40mm thick and you can make your esky any size, they hold the ice very well
