Hello,

Have ordered a Seajay 4.35 and have looked at the X515 c DF sounders. Anyone have one and any comments on these?

Have previously used a Lowrance 339C on my previous boat and I like the Lowrance.

I had one I just sold to boof (Or CJ on fishntales)It was a brand new unit I recieved as a warranty replacement on an X107cdf,I have spoken to ron since and he is very happy with the performance of this unit.
I have a lms332c combo unit and i am pleased with that.

G'day Steve,

The 515 is the new version of the older 107.

Better screen, upgraded keypad (some 107's had sticky keys) and has the nmea2000 network for all your new engine gauges etc etc.

I have used the 107 and it is an excellent unit.

I have just bought the X515 CDF and a Globalmap 5200 GPS for our 560 Sportsman Sharkcat.

I supply & fit Lowrance, Raymarine & Furuno ... but for this boat, Lowrance had the features, look and price that I wanted.

Feel free to PM me if you need a local price, but not if you are buying from overseas.

Cheers

Pete

Thanks for that Pete. I've actually ordered the 515 now and will be fited to the boat (when I get it in 8 weeks).

But thanks anyway for an opinion and not the stuff that "whatever I've got is the best etc"

I wasn't aware that you supplied this stuff. Having said that though, I do like being a loyal customer with my dealer here in Mackay (Reef Marine).

So far this has been a 2 way street. So it's a plug for my local dealer.

Regards
Steve
