Buying one of these fridge freezers tomorrow and never had much to do with them and hoping someone may be able to help with a few dumb questions.

I won't be using it much. Should you run it periodically just so it's not sitting idle too long? Is there any other sort of maintenance required?

How long roughly could you run it on a 630CCA battery (not deep cycle) before it took enough out of the battery to not start the motor?

Thanks in advance!

Hi fender22,
We recently purchased an Evakool 60lt (fibreglass) fridge/freezer.
They recommend running it once a month.
In the manual there is a care and storage page which includes a paragraph about Preventative Maintenance - cleaning the coil regularly.
Battery usage will depend on ambient temp and the temp you are trying to maintain the contents at. Running the unit as a fridge will use less power than running as a fridge/freezer.
