Navionics charts in America can be purchased with coverage for freshwater lakes. Here in Oz we don't have this 'luzury'. The charts are unavailable for our freshwater lakes and dams.
While there are programs out there for PCs which can produce electronic charts for PC GPS systems I havn't seen one which can take hold of a scanned map or electronic chart and convert it to a format which can be saved to an SD card and used in a Humminbird or Lowrance GPS to work the same way as a Navionics chart.
Has anyone out there seen a method which can be used to achieve this. It can't be a copywrite issue as nothing exists and even google earth can produce the electronic chart.
