Hey Tuff79, i have also have a Riptide, she's a 6.2m cuddy LOA 6.8m. I couldn't be happier with it, EXCEPT for the fact that i cant get enough time to actually take the thing out.
The build was very easy and very good, Dave was a pleasure to deal with, and one of the great things is that Dave built it like he was building it for himself.

VERY HAPPY RIPTIDE OWNER.

Tuff 79

I recently had a look at one he had finished whilst my boat was in the same yard getting a Suzi fitted. It was a 7.5 and one of the nicest boats I've ever seen. I would definately go see him as he was super nice and even though I had no intention of buying one of him he showed me over it and explained everyhting to me for ages.
