I gave up on the sailing thing and figured there was more important things to do so i decided to take the plunge and buy a fishin boat.
What can you suggest for a floating dock system for a 7.5m boat that will be tied up to a marina i read up on those floating dock thingo's and they seem really good for your boat especially because you can always flush out your motor with fresh water and give the hull a nice hose. The only reason i say this is because i have seen some and herd some really bad storys.

Nick,

I have my boat on an Airberth. If you look at their website it will give you all the info you need www.airberth.com (http://www.airberth.com). I can't speak highly enough of it and it has certainly made boating very easy and much more enjoyable. I now easily go out on my own without any stress or hassles and it is certainly easier than my 4.5m tinny on the trailer at the ramp etc.

The airberth is not as cheap as some of the other brands but based on my research it is a better product and easily moveable as it is only tied to the dock with ropes. The guys at airberth were absolutely fanstastic to deal with and I cannot speak highly enough of their service (a rare thing these days). The system is simple to use and allows me to maintain the boat as if it were on a trailer but without the hassle of the ramp and having a huge tow vehicle.

This may or may not be what you are looking for but it certainly has worked for me and has made my boating/fishing that much more enjoyable.

Good Luck,
Jason

Thanks Jason i filled out the "Recomend A Lift" for so they should get back to me soon hopefully :) I hope they can make it down here to Newcastle. I like the idea of a floating dock as its just like a trailer so you can flush the motor with some fresh water and give the hull a nice little spray it just makes me sleep better at night and does the same for the boat to i hope. Well lets see what price they come up for me
