When fishing in Northern Territory recently in the Macarthur river system
we caught a few mystery fish around 40cms that looked abit like a queenfish
in the head but the body was almost like a tailor because it was green on top and had similar fins.
I didnt get a photo of it but was wondering if anybody knows what it is??Has anybody caught one before ???

maybe a blind threadfin or also known as a puttynose perch they have greenish backs or a seven finger threadfin as they grow a bit bigger but only a guess without a picture
