haines hunter 565L information

Hi all,
Need some input about 565L haines looking at with 135 merc . how heavy is rig & will i be able to ski behind . how about comparison with 520sf .565L is 96 model as motor . what about sea worthyness

Mate, if you want to ski a 135 on 565 is not enough power. Its a good rough water boat. 135 OK for fishing. Cheers Pete.

The 565L is an awesome boat albeit a little underpowered with a 135 on the back. They handle the rough well.

I'll add a pic of mine when I work out how to do that.

for fishing, they are an awsome boat! rough seas dont seam all that bad anymore. i run a 140 on mine and that does the job. cuising on about 25knots economically in smooth waters. but a bigger motor is def wanted.

as for a ski boat, hav no experience with that sport.
but i dont think a 135 will get you out of the water quick enough...
