I've just installed a Humminbird 777 sounder with Quadra Beam transducer.
The Quadra Beam is great.
I've been playing around with the simulator and would like to know what most blokes think of the following functions and do you use them?
I'm fishing estuary and dams only.

Bottom Lock and Whiteline...... also, what's best for chart speed? slow or fast?

Do you keep the same chart speed when drifting as to going 25 kts etc,

Had a Garmin fishfinder 80 before this, huge difference, heaps more functions.

Thanks for your advice and opinions.

Jeff.

Basically... fastest chart speed possible, sensitivity or gain set as high as it can go before the screen blacks out... turn off fish ID and look at the raw data. Doing all this will allow you to "see" more fish.
