Just thought i would add a few pics of my boat with the FURUNO 526T-HDD Transducer fitted...Bloody fiddly work...but am very happy with the overall performance...I have not been able to get out deep yet to try the Sounder out ...but here in the harbour in about 60 meters i was travelling at maximum speed of 30 knots without any interference....this includes throwing the boat into hard turns...also going hard astern doesnt create any major dramas as well..
The pics were taken before the anti fouling had been applied...Had 2 days sanding back the course odd fouling...gained 2 knots approx

Nice clean install
Those airmar high speed fairing blocks are the gun when fitted properly.

Hi Splash,
What size & model transducer are you running? How deep have you fished & results? I have a 585 waiting to go in the new Fisher but have a 600W 520-PLD as the 1Kw zero deg SS164 are not available yet. Could you post a pic of your transducer? Mine will be mounted on a tab between the planing plank & the Suzi leg.

Gees you wouldn't want to check your bait every 10minutes would you :o
It would take me from smoko to lunch time to get some line up if I was bottom bouncing there. :-[
