Just a quick question

Was reading a fishing report and they said alot of fish have been getting caught off of FADS. was wondering wtf is a FAD?

Or Fish Aggregating Devices, as they're sometimes called. Same diff.

As you said, the most common kind is the buoy setup for pelagics, but artificial reefs could probably come under the same category too. NSWDPI has done a fair bit with FADs (see photos); wish we had more of them in Qld.

Basicaly any limp of junk that fish like to hang arround.

It is aledged that some blokes have there own private FAD...... but thtas just a rumour:-X
