i am just about finished wiring my garmin 178c and i have a quick question. i want to connect the yellow wire for the low water alarm but in the diagram there is like a 100mA relay. is this built in to the tunit or do i have to add it. i was just goin to connect it straight to battery voltage.

Looks like its an Open Collector Style output.

DO NOT CONNECT THE YELLOW WIRE TO 12V - Just tape it up and leave the end unterminated. (connecting it to 12V will cause the 100mA output to be overloaded)
