Looking for some simple solutions for mounting Furuno LS4100 transducer on the back of 2003 Haines Signature 530 C. The cutaway angles of the transom outside of the area or prop-wash mean that I need some type of shim or spacer to make the transducer run parallel to the direction of the boat. Currently loosing signal at some speeds as a result of turbulance caused by the wrong mounting angle.

Happy to admit my fabrication skills are not flash so would be greatful for simple solutions.

Cheers

Can you post up a photo?

Seamonkey,
Have attached a photo of the current position of the transducer. Have slipped a 35 mm piece of polypropylene under the RH side which has provided some adjustment but not enough to get it to run true. Pretty ugly as well.

Thats a tricky one...must be a lot of cut back on the hull. Best thing i can think of would be to get a stainless fabricator to make an almost triangular bracket up. With a bit of thought you could use the same screw holes.

Others may have some ideas.
