Team - this was caught in Cooroomin Ck on the Capricorn Coast yesterday.

It took a squid bait off the bottom.

Can anyone please let me know what species this is as I have never seen anything like it before. I was thinking Port Jackson Shark family due to the shape of the head and body and the mouth with 'feelers'.

My cousin Rod 'Rod Fishing' and his family were here for a visit from Townsville. The day started off with a bit of rough weather around Ironpot Island, so we retreated to Cooroomin for a fish. We caught a range of estuary species including Black and Gold Spot Rock Cod, Flathead, Bream, Flounder, Butter Bream.

Cheers.
