Hi Team,

I read my manual and note "Throttle Friction Adjustment" - this is the black nob on front of control box.

What is it and how do I optimise it's position?

How do I know when it is at it's optimal position/dial setting?

yep that's it.
It's all personal preference matey.
Some like it all stiff and tight and others like it all sloppy and loose.
Set it to what you like.

just adjust it untill the lever is comfortable to use and does not move back after you put it in position, but as mentioned, some people like it stiff as buggery, while others like a feather touch, (kind of like girls I suppose)

Spalsh,

The design concept of throttle friction is to stop throttle creep when you are underway and take your hand off the throttle.

Cheers
