Just curious what type of boat that all other ausfishers prefer to fish from.

Barra mauler i would pick different types of boats for what i want to do and where i fish there is no way i will spear my glass c/c into mangroves to get a crab pot back but it is alot better offshore .there is also no way i would take a yak out in the rivers and creeks of north queensland because of snapping handbags.I've never been in a poly so can't comment on them

Hmmm lets see ........ I prefer to fish from a glass boat .... But I wouldn't buy one::) ...... So I bought Aluminium because of the fishing I do ( mangroves , oyster leases , Flats etc) .... not a good place for glass:-[ Nagg

Poly 455 here, it gets used in the dams, In the lake and river and out to the local Fad as well. But it all really depends on what style of fishing you want to do and where you want to do it.
