It has taken a while but I have got there at last.

Had a set of old concrete laundry tubs sitting around and new I had just the job for them.

Picked up a cutting board today. I first tried the plastic suppliers and they wanted about $70.00 for a piece about 500mm x 500mm so went to the local catering supply business and picked up an off the shelf cutting board at 610x460 for $28.00. Just need to secure a couple of cleats to the underside to stop it moving around and it will be sweet.

Mick
Yes it is treated pine
BUT no it is not the shelf, I forgot that i had sat it up there when i snapped the pics.
I have got a plastic cutting board to go over 1 tub to work on and then into the second tub for rinsing.

It is refreshing to know that there are still people who are concerned with the health and welbeing of others.
Thanks for the concern

Might need a splash back too mate.
Scales are really hard to get off colourbond.

Nice job though and every place needs one :)
Looks like water is real handy as well.
Now to get those cleats and go fishing to give it the real test.

Good point finga, had not thought of that.
I know of a good supply of cheap (read free) laminex off cuts that would do just fine as a splash back.

I wouldn't worry too much if you have a really tall dog.
We haven't got the luxury of a cleaning table yet.
The dog eats the scales on the shed.
He'll stand there for hours trying to get them off.
