all,

my father has a project boat that has sat around, well, forever...::)
it is a seafarer (victory i think).

We (the Family) are keen for him to get it done so he can finally enjoy life, but work gets in the way for him. anyway, he has cut the transom out as it was rotted and replaced it and wants to pod it.

then all he needs is the outboard fitted and all the wiring done (which i will help with) and then a lick of paint and he's away.

I need a referral to a good, reliable fabricator to make and install the pod in the Brisbane/Ipswich areas. any names/numbers you can throw at me please?

cheers,
Mick

Sounds cool,

I can't help you with any fabricator references but it would be really awesome if you could post up pictures of the boat as it goes through its stages, it would be exciting. :)

actually I was wrong - its a Savage Atlantic 5.5.
good old classic boat. I might throw some pics up soon - its a bit shabby at the moment but will look good when done.

has anyone got contact details for someone to do this work?

Shano is out that way.
By all accounts a good fabricator.

who do you go to for a pod anyway? a fibreglasser or marine repairer?
Has anyone got another name or is Shano the only one?
