Went out yesterday only to find out my hummingbird transduer bracket has broken and the transducer was banging the boat as it was loose and not secured. Does anyone know where I could find a plastic bracket to hold the transducer as it is a superceeded model and so far i have had no luck. It is a humminbird piranha max 10 sounder. Any help would be appreciated

Mate give BLA a call.
They're the agents for them.
They're a bugger for getting broken and it's hard to adapt anything else but 'that' bracket.
Which bit was broken??
The bit on the boat or the intermediate bit of plastic??
I had some pieces under the house but I think I've already given them away.

hey fina unfortunately it is the part of the transduce the arm so to speak coming from the transducer which is then screwed into the bracket attached to the transom. (I hope this makes sense). I am thinking of either trying to srew it the bracket to the broken transducer or maybe even try some loc tight superglue(prob wishfull thinking). I certainly dont want to buy a transducer as it is nearly the cost of the unit!!!!

I've done the same thing. All i did was reshape the bracket and drill a new hole and seems to work well. brett
