in the new year i am going to buy a tinnie in the 4.1 t0 4.2 mark, i have started inspecting some brands at boat yards, but the brooker i have only looked at on the net. i have found three different beam specs on the 410 brooker on different sites, 1.75, 1.85 and 1.95. does anyone know the correct beam? i am planing to head up to cunningham marine in the next couple of weekends and check one out

thanks, shappy

Just take your tape measure with you on your inspection trip.

Before placing your order, ask what the width of the new hull will be.

I just depends on what the current factory specs are - they can change without notice.

Before handing over your money for the new boat, measure it.

If it doesn't "measure up" - Don't hand over the $$

I have looked at Stessco, Bluefin, Quintrex, Stacer, Snyper, Sea Jay, Ally Craft and others. The best quality ones would have to be Bluefin and Sea Jay, but you pay premium prices for these too.

By the way, have you had a look at the Clark Abalone 4.1?

They come with side decks as standard, but only 2mm bottom and sides.

See my post that shows a few pics of one being prepared for sale.

I will probably get one of these.......

As long as I'm a good boy for the minister of war and finance.

If you're interested, maybe we could do a multiple sale deal with the dealer for some reasonable discounts. I even have a bloke at work looking at getting a Clark.
