Can anyone tell me which sounder and particularly which transducer I should use.
My boat is a 40ft ex-work boat (steel). It has a protective housing welded midway along the hull with a 1" steel tube about 4" long through the hull.
I currently have a transom mount transducer attached to the side of the housing but doesn't seem to be very reliable in that configuration. The sounder is a Lowrance X52. Any ideas?
