Hi All
A mate is looking at purchasing the above plate boat.
Trouble is the manufacturers dont have a display boat to test.
I know there is a 5.02 around Wello & the guy swears by it.
Any thoughts??

pretty hard to get all fired up about a Boat you have never seen or know anyone who has one! but that is not to say they are not OK, surely the Manufacturers must know someone who has one for you to see and maybe scunge a ride in, or else I think I would be looking elsewhere!

I agree with Noel. Your mate is going to be up for around $50K & it is hard to spend that money on a boat sight unseen. The 5.02 may be a dream machine but the 6.02 could be a disaster. The are plenty of plate boat builders around who can put you into a rig for a test ride.

Seacape boats are the same as Tabs boats. It's basically the cheaper vesion of Tabs. The ride of a tabs is good but not as good as say a good glass boat. Once you get to 6.5 meters. The boat ride is much better ( another playing field).

I Drove A 532 Seascape With A 115 Etec And Was Fairly Impressed With The Boat Generally. I Think The Only Downside Was The Weld Quality. Could Be Better.

Mate I have a seascape 5.32 with a Johno 115 4stroke cuddy cab. I am very happy with it. It rides quite well. Out in the bay in 15plus the other day, it handled it well. Webby still whinged but he was happy with it.
Pm me for any info or ride.
