G'day guys im interested in anyones experiences with these outboards, I know they are tohatsus but under the Merc name, Their is no info on the mercury website so im after anyone who has one of these motors or has been in a boat with one of these.

not too sure about that exact model, but I have a 20HP that has been fantastic, and being a Tohatsu I guess makes it better, my mate does all the repairs for our Local Surf Club and he reackons the Tohatsu is the pick of all the club motors, so I guess that must mean something, because he does not have any "brand emotion" connected to them, they have Yamahas' (he hates them) Johnsons (second best) and so on, so I guess just "go for it"

I had one on my last boat, never had a drama with it. Great little motor all round.
