After a fun 2 and half years with the rig..we decided to sell it and enter another pahse. The buyer lives in Vic therefore I had to remove all the covers and pack everything etc for the trip.

A few pics of it stripped bare and loading onto the trailer.

Now waiting for the new boat.

Hi Pinhead

One door closes and another opens, you guys had lots of worthwhile experiences on TMD and discovered some new delights as well:)

No doubt the next adventure will provide its pleasures and the chance to explore other sights too.

The mover sure has a nice simple system to do the business; or its looks that way in the picture.

Catch you guys soon8-)

Cheers

If I had been the buyer I wouldn't have bothered with a water test either. Looks just great.

actually Bruce..it was Boatpoint...brokers wanted 8%+GST commission which would equate to around 13k for their commission. I was not going to pay that...so $120 later on Boatpoint and sold..simple.

That is one piece of machinery that would be hard to let go of......just a beautiful boat.
I'm guessing the next one will be just as if not more awesome than that one ??;)

I lost both my parents to the dreaded cancer..within 21/2 months of each other..they left me a few bucks. Some of it went into the purchase of that boat hence the name srands for:

Thanks Mum & Dad

the new boat is smaller..back to a trailer boat again...will suit what we want to do without a lot of the costs of a 30' boat...worked out at almost $200 pewr week before I even started one of the motors.

Hey Pinhead tell us what your new rig is??? Sorry too hear bout your folks mate, ive never been the same since i lost my dad. Did you ever get any blood on your last boat, or was it just a pleasurecruiser? Regards Dean.

Dean...thedeckies son caught an estuary cod from it..wife caught a few undersized fish on it...but I did kick my toe once...does that qualify as blood on it ????
I did have some great times on it with some great friends (most from on here) and those types of days are what life is about..great surroundings..great company and some good food and drink.
