repaired rod Question

G'day All, just repaird the tip on my favourite rod, it's a shimano 5'8 baitcaster 6-8kg. I snapped the tip off unknowingly last week but after repairing it I have lost about 350mm off it. Will this effect the performance of the rod or not???

mate a 5,8 rod and you just lost 1 ft 2 in thats going to make it one short stiff rod, i would think it would, but i could be wrong

Wont make all that much diffrence mate, not that much where you will actually feel it. Any lose will lead to some performance lose.
