Hi Fishers

I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I have been trying to share my waypoints with a mate. I have a lowrance 527 and he has a navman 5500. :-[

He has the cmap reader and the pc planner software but there appears to be a problem with the file conversion. I have been at this for a few days and it is really giving me the !@#$%. >:(

Please help me if you can. Thanks in advance!

You need to convert the Lowrance *.usr files to an acceptable file format for C-map. If he has the software try saving your files to *.gpx (gps exchange file) using a program like GPS Trackmaker

Here is what I used to get from Navman to Lowrance to Raymarine to Garmin:o

(you would think they would all use the same file>:( )

It is easier if you can change them into a xcell spread sheet them try and convert them... plus you need that bl**dy navman/c-map card reader to do it...and a c-map user card....:-/

if you need a hand drop me a PM

cheers
